A fun game for teachers and families to help teach kindness

Catching Kindness Game

Join students as you ask them to stand or sit in a circle. Students roll, throw, or kick a ball to their partner or neighbor. As they pass the ball to their neighbor they:

First round: say something kind about themselves “I am kind.”

Second round: say something kind about the person they are passing to “You are kind.”

Third round: say something kind about their environment “The classroom has pretty colors everywhere.”

Repeat throughout the whole classroom several times. Remember to mindfully breathe throughout each round.
